Institutional background

Who we are

Shoqata Shqiptare për Trajnim, Edukim dhe Kërkim Profesional (VETAR), referenced in English as the Albanian Association for Professional Training, Education and Research, is a registered non-profit organization in Albania. Its purpose is to advance vocational learning, educational quality, career-oriented research and practical skill development for public benefit.

VETAR’s work begins with a simple principle: education is most powerful when it connects knowledge to action. We therefore seek to create learning environments in which participants can understand concepts, practice relevant abilities, ask informed questions and see how their development relates to employment and community life.

Operating from Tiranë with a scope that extends across Albania, the association is positioned to work with learners, educators, trainers, communities and mission-aligned institutions. Activities are designed according to identified needs, appropriate expertise and the resources required to deliver responsibly.

As a non-profit body, VETAR directs its institutional attention toward educational and social value rather than private gain. Transparency, responsible administration and respect for applicable Albanian requirements guide how the association represents its work and relationships.
